Charity walk for the Caring and Sharing Trust
My team and I recently completed a 6.5 mile charity walk for the Caring and Sharing Trust – in glorious sunshine!
With a fundraising target of £5000, our walk was in the stunning countryside around Castle Ashby. I am pleased that the target is almost achieved - a small amount to go, so please do make a donation!
Our walk ended at Cotton’s Farmhouse in Cogenhoe, where we met with Caring and Sharing Trust attendees and staff, with Lord and Lady Northampton, West Northamptonshire Council Cabinet members and other local supporters.
Cotton’s Farmhouse has been working with people with learning disabilities, their families, carers, and care professionals for over 35 years.
I have supported them for many years, and have seen at first hand, the life changing work they do in the local community. During the pandemic, they kept vital services going for their clients and our fundraising will help to keep these services running.
I am really pleased that so many people supported our strong fundraising effort and extremely grateful to everyone that donated.
Donations are still being accepted and can be made through this link: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/cottons-farmhouse-charity-walk?utm_source=Sharethis&utm_medium=fundraising&utm_content=cottons-farmhouse-charity-walk&utm_campaign=pfp-email&utm_term=06bdb6b313b345dba9bf8595064cfa8d.
