Andrea Leadsom Visits Tower Hamlets Family Hub

So delighted that my new role as the Minister for Primary Care and Public Health also includes responsibility for the Start for Life, a subject that's been my passion for 25 years.

The 1,001 critical days - from conception to 2 - determine our lifelong emotional and physical health. We need the best workforce to support babies & families during those early years, and pilot schemes in Tower Hamlets, Islington, Leicester, Barnsley and Norfolk will help make this happen.

So I was delighted to visit Tower Hamlets Family Hub today - it was great to hear about their Start for Life workforce pilot that will meet local needs. The insights from the pilots will help inform national workforce policy.
