Andrea Leadsom Hails New Money for Pothole Repairs in South Northamptonshire
The Government are giving WNC £1,357,000 to fill potholes in our area.
This has been made possible as a result of the cancellation of the second phase of HS2, with funds instead going to improve our roads.
Together with the other uplifts the Government has provided, WNC will see an extra £80 million over the next decade. I will work closely with the council to ensure this money is spent effectively.
(See above for how smooth our roads will look with this new money 😉)
